The Cinque Terre represents one of the best preserved natural and semi-natural areas of the Mediterranean. Cinque Terre, which means Five Lands, is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It comprises of the five small coastal villages of Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso.
