Demetra Potsika was born in Thessaloniki and studied at the National School of Tourist Guides of Athens. She has worked as a tour guide in Greece since 1998. Her studies in Hotel Management, Museum Studies and Conference Interpreting have given her a great understanding of the tourist industry. She speaks English, Italian and Russian and her interests include wine, astronomy, scuba diving, sculpture, Greek flora and in the Chinese language.
